The preservation of Oromo religious and cultural values is crucial for shaping future generations and restoring a marginalized identity. To achieve this, we issue the following recommendations:
- For Oromo Intellectuals: We call upon academics, researchers, and educators of Oromo heritage to lead the way in researching, documenting, and integrating indigenous knowledge into modern educational frameworks.
- For Institutions: Regional bodies, such as the Oromia Culture and Tourism Bureaus, and international partners must collaborate to elevate the Oromo belief system into a dynamic cultural framework.
By working together, we can ensure that Oromo spiritual and cultural heritage is not only preserved but becomes a living, accessible source of identity and strength for generations to come.
